Anthony Letai: The Role of 3D Organoids in Revealing Drug Targets

Anthony Letai, Director of the National Cancer Institute (NCI), shared on X:

“I am a strong supporter of human-relevant cancer models.

New research, funded in part by NIH, adds ~150 3D organoids across 10 cancer types to DepMap-preserving tumor biology that 2D lines miss and revealing drug targets that might never have been found.”

Title: A dependency map enhanced with next-generation 3D cancer models
