“The International Myeloma Working Group recommendations for solitary plasmacytoma
Definitive RT is SOC, including patients with minimal (<10%) bone marrow involvement.
- 2/40 Gy is generally appropriate for <5 cm
- 2/50 Gy should be considered for lesions >5 cm
ENI is not recommended
Surgery should not replace RT. Postop RT remains recommended in most cases, particularly after incomplete resection
50% of SBP progresses to multiple myeloma within 3-5 years, versus only 11-36% of SEMP ”
