Alireza Mansouri, Associate Professor at Penn State Health, shared on LinkedIn:
“Important Phase 1 data now published in Nature Medicine: intracranial delivery of autologous B7-H3-targeting CAR-T cells (TX103) in recurrent glioblastoma.
Highlights:
- Open-label 3+3 dose-escalation trial
- No dose-limiting toxicities observed
- Disease control (stable disease or better) in 8 of 14 patients with measurable disease, including one complete response sustained at last follow-up
- 12-month overall survival rate: 66.7%
- Median overall survival: 19.1 months from first infusion
- Marked CAR expansion and cytokine release in CSF with minimal peripheral activity
These findings support the feasibility and encouraging activity of local CAR-T delivery in rGBM and the selection of a recommended Phase 2 dose.”
