Gold September is the month dedicated to raising awareness about childhood cancer. In Italy, AIEOP plays a fundamental role in coordinating a national network of 49 centers and 30 Working Groups, connecting healthcare professionals across the country – from Bolzano in Trentino – Alto Adige to Catania in Sicily.
Across this network, doctors, nurses, researchers, psychologists, data analysts and other professionals work together every day, sharing knowledge and experience to improve care, advance research and ensure that patients can benefit from the expertise of the entire network.
This is what AIEOP is all about: collaboration that helps make care increasingly effective, safe and personalized for children and adolescents with cancer and their families.
