“Oligometastatic disease in oesophago-gastric cancers may represent a distinct biological entity, separate from widespread disseminated malignancy. High quality randomized trials in the era of OMEC-4 and beyond are needed to investigate the role of locoregional therapies powered to outcomes which matter most to patients and clinicians alike – survival and quality of life.
Here’s a study we’ve just published looking at this in more detail, integrating clinician and patient views into suggested future trial design.”
