Stefano Cinti: Liquid biopsy for cancer management using portable diagnostics
Stefano Cinti, Associate Professor of Analytical Chemistry at University of Naples Federico II, shared an article by Alessandra Glovi, et al. on LinkedIn:
“Proud to announce a new publication in the field of liquid biopsy for cancer management using portable diagnostics we are developing.
A paper-based electrochemical device has been designed to evaluate the effect of anti-cancer therapy in treated neoplastic murine lysates, with a high agreement with the gold standard spectrophotometric method.
It might represent a significant revolution in cancer diagnosis, and the use of point of care platforms is a promising strategy to speed up and simplify operations, providing rapid and on-site analysis.
Good job to Alessandra Glovi for her first (of many)paper as 1st author, and to all collaborators, in particular to Giuseppe Ercolano, Antonio Giordano, Michelino De Laurentiis, and supporting agencies and institutions AIRC – Foundation for Cancer Research NGO, Sbarro Health Research Organization, Southern Higher School.
Read the paper published in Analytical Chemistry Act.”
