3D printing and augmented reality (AR) are revolutionizing medicine, particularly in complex surgeries like those for hepatic malignancies, whether used alone or in combination together.
In this review, following the analysis of 12 papers, the use of 3D printing and augmented reality were compared in an analysis that discussed the implications that these measures could have to improve the healthcare experience for patients and enable medical staff to better the healthcare system.
