Berlin was buzzing during ESMO Congress 2025, but one night stood out from the rest – The OncoDaily Party Berlin 2025, co-chaired by Dr. Yelena Janjigian and Dr. Giuseppe Curigliano, brought together oncology’s brightest minds for an unforgettable evening of networking, laughter, and pure OncoDaily spirit.

Hosted in the heart of Berlin’s creative district, the event quickly became the place to be during ESMO week. With more than 500 registrations, the room pulsed with excitement as clinicians, researchers, and innovators from every corner of the world came together not just to talk science, but to connect as people.
By the Numbers: OncoDaily Party Berlin 2025
Around 500 registrations packed the venue, with representation from 10+ countries—Italy, Germany, Spain, the UK, Poland, Turkey, and Georgia, plus long-haul guests from Brazil, the USA, Egypt and Kazakhstan, spanning 5 continents. Early-career oncologists were out in force, accounting for about one-third of the room, alongside senior investigators and trial leaders from dozens of institutions. It was a night of 2 co-chairs, 1 city, 0 slides, and innumerable new connections, proof that when oncology gathers at scale, collaboration accelerates.

Under the city’s neon glow, conversations flowed freely, from the next breakthrough in immunotherapy to stories of resilience and friendship in the oncology community. Every table was a meeting point of ideas, every photo a snapshot of collaboration.

Behind the scenes, our Hosting Committee kept the night effortless: Alberto Puccini, Amalya Sargsyan, Arturo Loaiza-Bonilla, Chandler Park, Diana Romero, Herbert Loong, Jenny Seligmann, Jennifer Buell, Julien Taieb, Kohei Shitara, Melvin L.K. Chua, Paolo Tarantino, Petros Grivas, Rachel Riechelmann, Sara Lonardi, and Vivek Subbiah. The mix spans academia, clinical care, early-phase trials, editorial leadership, and biotech—the same multidisciplinary blend that powers OncoDaily. Thanks to their work on the guest list, flow, and vibe, 500+ colleagues felt like one community.
An Evening of Connection and Inspiration
Co-chairs Dr. Yelena Janjigian (Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, USA) and Dr. Giuseppe Curigliano (University of Milan, Italy) welcomed guests with warmth and humor, setting the tone for a night that celebrated not only science, but also humanity. Their presence reflected the global spirit of OncoDaily – bridging continents, institutions, and disciplines in the name of progress.

As music filled the air and Berlin’s creative energy took over, attendees shared toasts, exchanged contacts, and captured countless moments that will soon appear across social feeds, the kind of moments that remind us why collaboration matters.

A Celebration of the OncoDaily Community
The OncoDaily Party wasn’t just another conference side event, it was a celebration of community. The same passion that drives OncoDaily’s daily coverage, interviews, and global oncology news came alive in person. Every conversation, every photo, every shared laugh represented what OncoDaily stands for: connection, curiosity, and collaboration.
With its mix of science and style, the night symbolized the modern face of oncology diverse, global, and full of life. It proved that even after long congress days, the oncology world knows how to celebrate innovation, impact, and each other.
