“Slovenia just published its first national healthcare quality report by Public Agency of the Republic of Slovenia for Quality in Healthcare.
It’s a comprehensive and robust overview of all levels of care.
And it also reveals something important: we are measuring the right things to make the care safe, BUT we are not yet measuring the right things to make care more value-based (VBHC).
So far only orthopedics measure PROMs on a national level.
The good news?
The eKarton project, Slovenia’s national open EHR based electronic health record platform provides a unified, interoperable clinical data infrastructure across all health institutions, where PROMs and PREMs are an integral part of the equation.
