A Milestone in Childhood Cancer Care: Wellness Center Inaugurated in San Lorenzo – Foundation S

“The first Comprehensive Wellness Center for children with cancer was recently inaugurated in San Lorenzo, as part of the Renaci Foundation in Paraguay.
To mark this major milestone, aiming to improve the quality of life of thousands of children, Daniela Raposo and Cecilia Adorno Ferreira represented Foundation S and Sanofi at the inauguration. Carolina Lopez and Patricia Corvalan toured the Pediatric Hemato-Oncology Department at Clinics Hospital, led by Dr. Angelica Samudio.
Since 2009, the S Foundation has proudly supported the Renaci Foundation through the My Child Matters program to strengthen the childhood cancer care ecosystem in Paraguay.
This partnership has enabled:
- 7 key projects implemented.
- 1,300 children supported.
- 2,400 healthcare professionals trained.
- €1.5 million invested in early diagnosis programs, transplant units, palliative care, and satellite centers.
Together, we continue to transform the future of children with cancer in Paraguay.”
