Susanna Fletcher Greer, Chief Scientific Officer of The V Foundation, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“As a scientist and a mom, I know exactly what we’re fighting for at the V Foundation, more time, more milestones, and more memories for every family facing cancer. Each week, I share a research highlight from a V Foundation-funded grantee, because science saves lives, and it deserves to be seen.
But until the end of May, I’m stepping away from LinkedIn to celebrate a milestone of my own: my only son is turning 19, and we’re in Italy together. Thank you for supporting the V Foundation mission. I’ll be back in June, full of pasta and perspective.”
