“What an incredible past few days for our Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis MPN program!
On Thursday, the first myelofibrosis patient was dosed with the RSK inhibitor PMD-026 in our clinical trial led by Dr. Amy Zhou. This study was launched based on preclinical work from my research lab.
On Friday, we hosted David Shoultz, CSO of MPN Research Foundation, and showed off our exceptional MPN laboratory research, clinical trials, and patient care facilities and infrastructure, punctuated by discussing our recently funded P01 Program Project Grant.
On Friday evening, we had a lovely dinner to recognize the outstanding commitment and dedication of our WashU Team MPN, and to celebrate recent achievements and positive developments for our program.
And on Saturday, we were honored to be joined by invited speakers Andrew Kuykendall and Gabriela Hobbs for our MPN patient education program.
Attended by more than 100 patients, family members, and guests, the event provided an opportunity to learn about current and emerging approaches to diagnosis and management of MPNs.
