Will Parsons: 1.5 Million Dollars in New Research Funding for Texas Children’s Cancer and Hematology Center
Will Parsons, Director of the Pediatrician-Scientist Residency Training Program and Professor at the Department of Pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine, and Interim Director of Texas Children’s Cancer and Hematology Center, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“We’re proud to highlight faculty at Texas Children’s Cancer and Hematology Center who have been awarded over $1.5 million in new research funding.
The projects are advancing novel immunotherapies, targeting metabolic and genetic drivers of cancer, improving models for AML and neuroblastoma, and enhancing precision medicine for effective treatments, better outcomes, and improved long-term survivorship care.

- Mark Zobeck, MD, MPH | The Fund for Innovation in Cancer Informatics (ICI): Predicting cardiotoxicity using integrated clinical-genomic platforms
