“This morning I ran the Great North 10k! This was my first run in a race environment and all as a preparation for the Great North Run in September for Cancer Research UK (CRUK)
I’m very lucky to at I have had nearly 24 years with my grandad, when we thought we would get about 10. This is largely thanks to the amazing work CRUK in funding research and treatment of Cancer.
Any donation is hugely appreciated, so that other families are able to have the time with their loved ones that we have.
(Also my time was 1 hour 7 so hopefully my half in September might actually be decent.)”
