“He Is a Unifier. He Has Never Met a Stranger” – Dr. Joanna Metzner-Sadurski, President of Oncology101.org, about Dr. Gevorg Tamamyan

Leading physicians, scientists, and colleagues worldwide continue to voice their support for Dr. Gevorg Tamamyan’s candidacy for WHO Director-General.

Dr Joanna Metzner-Sadurski, President of Oncology101.org, also expressed her support.

“When I listed Dr. Gevorg Tamamyan many qualities, I forgot one of the most important: he is a unifier.

He has never met a stranger. He cares about people, brings them together, and travels the world with a shared purpose: improving oncology care for patients everywhere.

Jasmine Kamboj is like that. Such a wonderful advocate for American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO). I feel fortunate to be part of this community. Some of the kindest people I know work in OncoDaily. Whenever someone asks for help, there is always someone ready to contribute their time, knowledge, and heart.

Seeing 50,000 people tune in to the latest COGC 2026 speaks to that shared commitment. People care deeply. They want to learn from one another, support one another, and help bring the best possible cancer care to patients around the world.

Go Gevorg!!!”
