“I’m honored to share that my abstract has been selected for a poster presentation at Accelerating Pediatric Cancer Innovation:
From Research to Real-World Impact, a Nature Conference at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee, on November 11–12, 2026. Having my work accepted at a Nature conference is a special honor.
There’s a story behind this, and it starts with Dr. Gevorg Tamamyan. It began during COVID. My friends were volunteering in COVID wards, but family circumstances didn’t allow me to join them.
So, I gathered my courage, called Dr. Tamamyan, and asked if I could volunteer in pediatric oncology department, even remotely, in any way I could help. At the time, I had no idea this would one day become my specialty.
I’m so glad I made that call. Since then, I have grown not only professionally but also personally. I’m truly grateful to him for the opportunity to grow as a clinician here in Armenia, surrounded by amazing people.
And this week brought one more reason to be proud:
