Deepak Khuntia: Siemens Healthineers Receives ASTRO’s Inaugural Corporate Partner Award

Deepak Khuntia, Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer at Siemens Healthineers Cancer Care, shared on LinkedIn:

“Proud moment at ASTRO 2026

Siemens Healthineers has been honored with American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) inaugural Corporate Partner Award, accepted on stage by our CEO, Arthur Kaindl.

Being the first recipient of this award means a great deal to all of us. It reflects years of collaboration with the radiation oncology community: clinicians, physicists, dosimetrists, therapists, researchers, and above all, the patients we serve together.

As a practicing radiation oncologist and Chief Medical Officer at Siemens Healthineers Cancer Care business, I see every day that meaningful progress in cancer care doesn’t come from technology alone.

It comes from true partnership: listening to the clinical community, sharing a commitment to evidence, and working together to expand access to high-quality radiation therapy around the world.

Thank you to ASTRO and Vivek S. Kavadi, for this recognition, and to our colleagues across Varian and Siemens Healthineers whose work made it possible. We’re just getting started.”
