“Twenty years after his last relapse, Pablo Allard Méndez has transformed his own experience into a lifelong commitment to supporting others.
Diagnosed with clear cell sarcoma of the kidney at the age of two, Pablo spent much of his early childhood facing repeated relapses. Today, he is a psycho-oncologist, supports adolescents with cancer at Fundación Camino, co-founded Luz de Esperanza-Chile’s national network of childhood cancer survivors-and contributes to global survivorship initiatives through St. Jude’s Together Program and SurNet.
His story is a powerful reminder that childhood cancer does not define a person’s future.
