Binay Shah: Raising funds to build Binaytara 200-bed cancer hospital in Janakpur
Binay Shah, President of the Binaytara Foundation, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“On our way to Annapurna Base Camp – Step by step, for a cause that’s close to our hearts.
We’re trekking through breathtaking mountain villages, resting at cozy teahouses, and waking up each day surrounded by the majestic Himalayas – all to raise funds for something truly meaningful: building Binaytara 200-bed cancer hospital in Janakpur, Nepal.
Each step we take on this trail brings us closer to a future where people in Madhesh Province and beyond will have access to lifesaving cancer care, closer to home, regardless of their economic status.
From long days on the trail to warm meals shared in mountain teahouses, this journey is not just about reaching Annapurna Base Camp – it’s about hope, healing, and health equity.
Swipe through some of the beautiful moments we’ve captured so far – mountain peaks piercing the sky, smiling faces in quiet villages, and the simple charm of teahouse life.
Every kilometer we walk is a reminder of why we’re doing this – because cancer care should not be a luxury, and every life matters.
Thank you to everyone who’s supporting this cause. If you’d like to contribute or learn more about the Binaytara Foundation’s work, we’d love to hear from you.”
