Alexandre Chan: A Pleasant Surprise from Helen McKinnon and ISOPP
Alexandre Chan, Founding Chair and Professor of Clinical Pharmacy Practice at UCI School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“A pleasant surprise when I got home today – Vincent was handing me a very heavy trophy that came in the mail (not heavy only by weight, also by its prestige).
Over the years International Society of Oncology Pharmacy Practitioners (ISOPP) has truly widened my perspectives on global oncology – so much that needs to be done to reduce the disparities of cancer care around the world. I am also grateful with all the lifelong friendships I’ve made along the way – they are constantly reminding me our common goal to improve cancer care and I am certainly not alone in this journey.
Thank you Helen McKinnon and ISOPP once again for this major accolade! I really wish that I could attend the conference last month to receive the award in person!”
