“MY FIRST SCANS IN REMISSION WERE CLEAN!
1) Suck it, cancer!
2) I love my providers!
I stopped checking my portal at ~4:30 p.m. on Friday.
My oncologist updated my file at the buzzer like a homie.
What an awesome surprise!
One day at a time, still.
I make an effort to also show the good days of living with stage 4 cancer so that other people can see that there is hope.
One understated portion of that is highlighting a good medical team.
Our healthcare SYSTEM is broken, but most of the people working in it are amazing.”
