The Fight Osteosarcoma Together (FOT) Super Grant of $1.5 million was awarded to Dr. Patrick Grohar

“For over 40 years, the primary treatment for childhood osteosarcoma has remained unchanged.

To create a significant breakthrough for children battling this disease, five funding partners (Michael and April Egge, Osteosarcoma Collaborative, Battle Osteosarcoma, CureSearch for Children’s Cancer, and The Zach Sobiech Osteosarcoma Fund of Children’s Cancer Research Fund) joined forces with St. Baldrick’s to establish The Fight Osteosarcoma Together (FOT) Super Grant.

In 2023, this three-year, $1.5 million grant was awarded to Dr. Patrick Grohar, who aims to launch a clinical trial to test a new treatment within these three years.
