Sarbani Chakraborty, Senior Researcher at Center for Global Health (CGH), shared a post by Union for International Cancer Control on LinkedIn, adding:
“There are deep inequities in access to cancer prevention, treatment and care for women (and men). We need all actors to work together to close the gap. ‘Global collaboration, health system reforms, and policy advocacy to address disparities in cancer care access.'”
Quoting the Union for International Cancer Control’s post:
“‘We must advocate and educate to empower individuals with the knowledge that cancer can be cured, especially if caught early.’ Mary Nyangasi, WHO’s Global Breast Cancer Initiative lead, shares her insights into women’s cancer challenges.”
