About Emily Podany
Dr. Emily Podany is a Hematology and Oncology Fellow at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, where she is dedicated to improving patient care and advancing research in the field. Prior to her fellowship, she served as the Chief Resident in Quality and Patient Safety at the Michael E. DeBakey Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Houston from June 2021 to July 2022. During this time, she focused on enhancing patient safety protocols and quality improvement initiatives within the healthcare setting.
Dr. Emily completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine, where she gained extensive clinical experience. Her commitment to patient care and safety continues to drive her work as she develops expertise in treating complex hematologic and oncologic conditions.
