How I treat ‘cancer’
- Asymptomatic CLL = observe.
- Asymptomatic follicular lymphoma = observe.
- Asymptomatic marginal zone = observe.
- Asymptomatic mantle cell = observe.
- Asymptomatic MDS = observe.
- Asymptomatic hairy cell = observe.
- Asymptomatic (smoldering) myeloma = observe.”
To which, Thor Halfdanarson, Professor of Oncology at Mayo Clinic School of Medicine, commented:
“I would add to that list asymptomatic, low-grade, low volume metastatic (and some localized) NETs.”
And Aaron replied:
“I think some prostates too.”
