Jill Feldman: It’s the era of patient-centered ‘everything’ and patients are the ONLY ones who can define what that means
Jill Feldman shared Fumiko Ladd Chino’s post on X/Twitter, adding:
“It’s the era of patient-centered ‘everything’ (disturbing we need that term in oncology) and patients are the ONLY ones who can define what that means.
Thank you Puneeth Iyengar and Matthias Guckenberger for recognizing that and giving me not only a seat at the table but a strong voice.”
Quoting Fumiko Ladd Chino’s:
“Incorporate a patient advocate or survivor from the beginning of guideline creation ‘fulfills an OBLIGATION that we have as a community to optimize these therapies on behalf of the patient’.
Say it louder, Dr. Puneeth Iyengar…
And thank you Jill Feldman and other advocates.”
