Manni Mohyuddin: Sad to see surrogacy word loosely used in a plenary session
Manni Mohyuddin, Assistant Professor at the Huntsman Cancer Institute at the University of Utah, recently tweeted:
“Sad to see surrogacy word loosely used in a plenary session.
On left you’re comparing patients who achieved MRD neg to those who didn’t- that shows it’s prognostic marker, and not surrogate marker.
On right you show MRD is a surrogate of another poor surrogate (PFS).”
