“I spent Saturday at The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Southern Blood Cancer Conference as a caregiver and daughter of a mother who has Myeloproliferative Neoplasm Myelofibrosis (MPN-MF). I am ALWAYS educating myself on my mother’s rare blood cancer. I also got the chance to talk with the nurse Lauren from Incyte Medical, the maker of the drug that’s keeping my mother alive.
I’m thrilled that I got to be reunited with Mel Mann, and Cecelia Mann! I love that we got to hear more of Cecilia’s story from the caregiver’s perspective. The last time we were in the same place together was during the taping of our performances on Stories from the Stage. I was my usual dramatic self!”
