Kira A. Young, Ph.D., is an Associate Research Scientist at The Jackson Laboratory. She studies hematopoiesis and the molecular basis of aging in the blood. Dr. Young, a JAX postdoctoral associate, has received the ASH Scholar Award from the American Society for Hematology to support her research on aging blood. She has expertise in molecular biology and analytical chemistry techniques, data collection, and analysis.
