Soumita Majumdar

Dr. Soumita Majumdar is a radiation oncologist specializing in radiation oncology and palliative care. She currently works as Associate Consultant, Radiation Oncology and Palliative Care at Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Cancer Hospital, Kolkata, a role she has held since April 2026, having previously served at the same institution as Junior Consultant (May 2025–April 2026) and Senior Registrar in Radiation Oncology (August 2022–May 2025). She completed her MBBS at North Bengal Medical College (2009–2015), her DNB in Radiation Oncology at Max Super Speciality Hospital, Vaishali (2018–2022), and a Certificate Course in Essentials of Palliative Care (CCEPC) from the Indian Association of Palliative Care (July 2024), along with CCEPC Part B training involving extensive hands-on experience at Tata Medical Centre, Kolkata.
