On April 13, 2026, OncoDaily GI, the dedicated gastrointestinal cancers channel within the OncoDaily ecosystem, announced a strategic partnership with the GI Cancers Alliance, focused on communication, education, and collaboration across GI oncology.
The GI Cancers Alliance represents the collective voice of the gastrointestinal cancer community, working alongside its members to raise awareness, provide education, and keep the patient voice central to advocacy. Through this collaboration, OncoDaily GI will provide structured coverage of the Alliance’s activities, while the OncoDaily GI Magazine will serve as an official publication platform.
Scope of the Collaboration
Official Media Partner
Within this partnership, OncoDaily GI will serve as the official media partner of the GI Cancers Alliance, providing coverage of relevant news, insights, updates, and initiatives from the Alliance and its member organizations. This content will be published and amplified across the OncoDaily platform and its communication channels.
Publication Platform
OncoDaily GI Magazine
The OncoDaily GI Magazine will serve as an official publication platform for the GI Cancers Alliance. The magazine will initially be published twice per year, with the possibility of expanding to a monthly publication in the future. Members of the Alliance may contribute opinion pieces, perspectives, stories, experiences, and thought leadership articles.
Selected content will be further amplified through OncoDaily GI and, where appropriate, the broader OncoDaily ecosystem.
About the GI Cancers Alliance
The GI Cancers Alliance, led by Martha Raymond, MA, CEO of the GI Cancers Alliance and the Raymond Foundation, is a global organization representing the gastrointestinal cancer community. Founded in 2015, it unites patient advocacy groups and collaborates with stakeholders to address unmet needs such as screening, awareness, and access to treatment.
Its mission is to raise awareness, provide education, and advocate to prevent, treat, and cure gastrointestinal cancers through collaboration between advocacy groups, industry, and institutional partners.
The Alliance also contributes to research through patient-reported outcomes, helping identify gaps in education and support and guiding the development of targeted programs for the GI cancer community. At the 2025 American Society of Clinical Oncology Gastrointestinal Symposium, the Alliance presented two abstracts/poster presentations focused on patient-reported outcomes and real-world perspectives in GI cancers, highlighting its commitment to evidence-informed advocacy.
One of its ongoing initiatives includes the “Test Your Biomarkers” campaign, which has generated significant global engagement and aims to improve awareness and access to biomarker testing across gastrointestinal malignancies.
The Alliance represents the full spectrum of GI cancers, including colorectal, gastric, gastroesophageal junction, pancreatic, hepatobiliary, and other gastrointestinal malignancies.
