Our team is full of surprises…
Other than being an oncologist, our Managing Editor is a musician. Being a singer/songwriter, Dr Elen Baloyan, Editor-in-Chief of OncoDaily Magazine, the Director of BIGR, produces her own music, and we are happy to share with you her first mini-EP with 6 songs and one single.
The album, called “mind” tells a story of one’s mind, struggle with different parts of one’s personality, feelings of love and loss – showing that being vulnerable and transparent is not something to be afraid of. The multiple sides of the stories reflected in each song culminate to end with self-acceptance and relief in the song “crash”.
“Feelings are good – happiness, anger, sadness… – all of them. Don’t be afraid of feeling sad. Be scared of not feeling anything at all.” – Elen.
And the artwork for the album was created by our designer, illustrator Liana Gogyan! Teamwork!
