Rachelle Brick, Program Director at National Cancer Institute, shared on LinkedIn:
“New Survivorship Publication.
A synthesis of 18 National Cancer Institute (NCI) funded supplement projects revealed that health systems currently evaluate alignment with National Standards for Survivorship Care primarily by tracking care processes, while policy and evaluation metrics remain significantly under-measured.
Addressing these gaps with shared operational definitions will allow healthcare systems to build stronger measurement tools and ultimately improve long-term care for cancer survivors.”
