“Gratitude for an Exceptional Meeting in Cancer Research.
Still energized by the outstanding two-day meeting, Cellular Plasticity and the Tumor Ecosystem, at the Case Comprehensive Cancer Center. It was a remarkable gathering of scientists, clinicians, editors, trainees, and industry partners advancing the science of tumor plasticity and the tumor microenvironment.
My sincere gratitude to the outstanding organizing committee: Christopher Hubert, Justin Lathia, Ofer Reizes, khalid Sossey Alaoui, and Jennifer Yu.
A very special thanks to Justin Lathia for his exceptional hospitality, thoughtful leadership, and flawless organization. Thanks to Tyler Miller for the wonderful boat outing with some of the speakers; it was a memorable opportunity for conversation and friendship outside the meeting room. Special appreciation to Natalie Cain from the Journal of Experimental Medicine and Catherine Landis from Cell Stem Cells for the insightful discussion. Congratulations to all trainee presenters and awardees.
Thanks to everyone who made this meeting such a success. I am leaving Cleveland inspired by the ideas, collaborations, and friendships that emerged over these two days.”
