“Positioning the Future of Patient Care
The future of innovation is in the hands of medical physicists—they are shaping the next era of cancer care
On 17th May 2025, we successfully conducted the 10th Training Course by Orfit Industries and POCL Medical Solutions- Training School Academy in Mumbai! It was a valuable session for BARC – (DipRP) medical physicist students, focusing on patient positioning, immobilization, and treatment planning to improve patient care.
Big thanks to Orfit and POCL Teams for making this possible. Special thanks to Mr. Hans Deprettere for his informative session on global Orfit innovations, and to my mentor Dr. Sudesh Deshpande Sir for his expert insights. Grateful to S.D. Sharma Sir for coordinating and bringing such enthusiastic students, and to SATYAJIT SASMAL for his great support during the session.
