Pavlos Msaouel: This multimodal approach has rendered disease-free previously thought to be incurable in the 2+ line setting
Pavlos Msaouel, Medical Oncologist at GU Department of MD Anderson Cancer Center, shared a post by Chad Tang, Radiation Oncologist at the MD Anderson Cancer Center, on X, adding:
” This multimodal approach has rendered disease-free Renal Medullary Carcinoma (RMC), previously thought to be incurable in the 2+ line setting. We can thus far only do it in highly selected patients but the gratifying results bring us closer to fight against cancer“.
Quoting Chad Tang’s post:
“Excited for our recent work by Robert Mbilinyi a medical student at TAMU. This article investigates definitive radiation therapy for Renal Medullary Carcinoma. Collaborators are Priya Rao, Jose Karam, Nizar Tannir and Pavlos Msaouel“.
