At ESMO GI 2025, our Fight CRC Research Advocate, Elsa Lankford, was on the ground learning about a new drug combo – botensilimab + balstilimab—that’s giving hope to patients with few options.
– Tumors shrank in some patients
– Many saw their cancer stop growing
– Some responses lasted well over a year
A Phase 3 trial is on the way, bringing this treatment one step closer to becoming an option outside of trials.
