Stopping the Spread of Medulloblastoma – A Breakthrough from St. Baldrick’s Foundation
St. Baldrick’s Foundation shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Research highlight.
Medulloblastoma doesn’t stop with just one tumor – it can spread through the brain and spine.
Now, St. Baldrick’s EPICC Team researchers have discovered how the tumor may be calling in help to grow: by changing nearby cells.
When they blocked that signal, it showed promise of slowing the growth.
This breakthrough could lead to more targeted therapies for kids who need them most. Like and repost to spread the word about this promising discovery for medulloblastoma patients.”
