OncoSwab and Mayo Clinic Collaborating to Advance Non-Invasive Diagnostic Platform for Early Cancer Detection

Scott Jacobson, Healthcare Professional at JacobsVenture, shared a post on LinkedIn by OncoSwab, adding:

“OncoSwab and Mayo Clinic are contributing to a solution for detecting and treating Lung Cancer in early stages.
Expanding the opportunity to detect lung cancer early is profoundly impactful in the United States and across the globe.
The two scientist Founders (Andrea and Pablo) developed the innovative idea with an eye to minimizing risk of unnecessary radiation while enhancing access to screening and improve time to early treatment for the deadliest cancer among several and most under-screened at <25% in the US. And while American guidelines do not capture many of us who are at risk most Countries worldwide haven’t any at all.
Reach out to support this work as OncoSwab continues to demonstrate and validate their efficacy to save lives and improve patient outcomes. Because even non smokers are increasingly developing this deadly disease and learning too late.”

Quoting OncoSwab‘s post:

“We’re proud to announce that OncoSwab has entered into a collaboration agreement with Mayo Clinic to advance our non-invasive diagnostic platform for early cancer detection.
This collaboration provides OncoSwab with access to Mayo Clinic’s renowned clinical research expertise to support the clinical validation of our nasal swab-based test for detecting lung cancer. Together, we’re also exploring the expansion of this technology into other indications.
At OncoSwab, we believe that accurate and accessible diagnostics are key to detecting cancer earlier and improving patient outcomes. This partnership marks a major milestone on our journey to make non-invasive, patient-friendly testing the new standard.
A simple nasal swab. A world of insight.
More to come. Stay tuned.”
