Kenji López-Cuevas: $27K Medicine Donation from Cancer Warriors Foundation of Mexico
Kenji López-Cuevas, Founding President of Cancer Warriors of Mexico, Treasurer at Union for International Cancer Control (UICC), shared a post on LinkedIn:
“I enthusiastically share my message today, where Cancer Warriors Foundation of Mexico, A.C. delivered a donation in kind of medicines with a value of more than $500,000 pesos (27 thousand dollars) to the Regional High Specialty Hospital of Zumpango, Estado De México.
This achievement was possible thanks to the support of various alliances and laboratories that trust and legitimize our daily work in favor of salud in our country.
I thank the Secretary of Health of the State of Mexico, Dr. Macarena Montoya Olvera, for her trust and support for this and the projects that, together, we are promoting for the benefit of this entity.
Our recognition also for:
• Alfredo Jiménez García, President of ISEM Volunteering, for the alliance we are building.
• Dr. Said Cerrillo Gutiérrez, Deputy Director of Medical Care of the Ministry of Health.
• Dr. Abigail Trujillo Neri, General Director of the hospital, and her entire team for their empathy and commitment to each patient.
Thanks also to part of my team that represented with great honor this transparent delivery: Sebastian Garcia Procel and Fernando Peregrina Martínez.
And let’s go for more!”
