“After 20 wonderful years at Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center, I’m grateful for the mentorship and colleagues that shaped my journey.
Excited to start as Medical Director for GU Clinical Research at Tennessee Oncology and Greco-Hainsworth Centers, bringing trials and care to patients across TN.”
Katy Beckermann is a medical oncologist specializing in genitourinary cancers, with a focus on clinical trials and drug development. She currently serves as the Medical Director of GU Clinical Research at Tennessee Oncology, where she works to improve cancer care through innovative research. Prior to this, Dr. Beckermann was an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center for over six years. She earned both her M.D. and Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine.
