American Society of Hematology has announced the 2025 Scholar Award Recipients

The American Society of Hematology (ASH) has announced the recipients of its 2025 Scholar Awards, recognizing 35 early-career researchers dedicated to advancing the field of hematology.

Hematology

This year marks the 40th anniversary of the ASH Scholar Award, a program that has played a pivotal role in supporting researchers as they transition from training programs to independent research careers.

The ASH Scholar Award continues to be one of the Society’s most prestigious and impactful research funding initiatives.

Since its inception in 1985, the ASH Scholar Award has provided essential financial support to hematologists across the United States and Canada.

These researchers focus on basic, translational, and clinical research aimed at advancing the understanding and treatment of blood disorders.

The program offers varying levels of funding based on the recipient’s career stage, with $100,000 awarded to Fellows, $125,000 for those advancing from Fellow to Faculty, and $150,000 for Junior Faculty.

This funding enables recipients to pursue groundbreaking research and contribute to innovations in the field of hematology.
