“Thrilled to receive a Gilead award at 2025 annual meeting of Belgian Society of Medical Oncology.
This 25k award will be wisely used with lab team to tackle more the role of whole genome doubling in agressiveness of Triple Negative Breast Cancer.

Thanks to Kornelia Polyak for the amazing mentoring I got from her in Boston during 4 years (this project will be led in a collaboration with her). And to Pierre Close and Arnaud Blomme for being amazing colleagues and friends and for welcoming the project in lab!
I was lucky to receive award from Kevin Punie and Evandro de Azambuja, 2 colleagues I enjoy to work with and meet frequently :). Congratulations for the new amazing logo of BSMO (and Kevin matching his outfit with colors of this new logo) :D.
Finally it is a huge honor to share the stage with Colinda Scheele for Gilead awards whose work strongly impacts the way we perform our fundamental and translational work now in breast cancer field.”
