Elvina Almuradova on 2025 JAMA study linking stress sensitivity to increased lung cancer risk
Elvina Almuradova, Associate Professor of Oncology at the European Institute of Oncology (IEO), shared a post on X about a recent article by Yingxi Chen et al. published in JAMA Network:
“Genetically higher sensitivity to stress is linked to a 49% increased risk of lung cancer, especially squamous cell carcinoma in Europeans and adenocarcinoma in East Asians.
