Drew Moghanaki: Surgeon Shortage Shifts Early-Stage NSCLC Treatment to SBRT
Drew Moghanaki, Professor and Chief of Thoracic Oncology at the Department of Radiation Oncology, UCLA, shared a post on X:
“Here is a study demonstrating that when lung cancer surgeons are scarce, patients with early-stage NSCLC are more likely to only consult a radiation oncologist and more likely to be treated with SBRT.”
