A new review led by Professor Corinne Faivre-Finn (The Christie NHS Foundation Trust) highlights how pragmatic clinical trials can bring research closer to everyday care – by including people often excluded from traditional trials: older adults, women, and those with other health conditions.
This approach is especially urgent in Europe, where access to clinical trials is falling and people with lung cancer are being left behind. At LuCE, we support research that reflects real lives not just ideal trial conditions.
