Claire Raab: Break down barriers to colorectal cancer screening with Temple Health’s Access Project
Claire Raab, President and CEO Temple Faculty Physicians at Temple Health, shared on LinkedIn:
“Temple Health’s Access Project has already made a meaningful impact in our community, helping to break down barriers to colorectal cancer screening, which is one of the leading causes of death among adults.
Thanks to a recent grant, we have been able to offer free, at-home Fecal Immunochemical Testing, or FIT testing, to thousands of people in North Philadelphia, making early detection more accessible and convenient.
I’m proud of the LKSOM Medical Students and TUH Internal Medicine Residents who are helping to drive this initiative.
Their commitment to bringing healthcare directly to the community has shown how effective we can be when we meet people where they are and remove barriers to care.”
