Christopher Flowers shared an article on Large B cell lymphoma microenvironment archetype profiles

Christopher Flowers, Division Head of Cancer Medicine at MD Anderson Cancer Center, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“Exciting news from the plenary session of ICML where David Russler-Germain from Wash U presented on “Large B-cell Lymphoma Microenvironment Archetype Profiles (LymphoMAPs) identify subgroups of patients with large B-cell lymphoma (LBCL) with greater benefit from CD19 CAR T-cell therapy”. Steve Ansell from Mayo Clinic provided an outstanding commentary on the work.
The LymphoMAPs framework defined three reproducible tumor microenvironment (TME) archetypes (FMAC, LN, TEX) with distinct cellular ecosystems, novel prognostic insights, and potential targets for personalized treatment strategies. LymphoMAPs are orthogonal to malignant clone genetics and critically shape immune dynamics and therapeutic outcomes. This work was led by Dr. Michael Green and his lab at MD Anderson. Complete details of this work are now published in Cancer Cell.”
