Union for International Cancer Control Highlighted 2025 Global Cervical Cancer Elimination Forum in Bali
Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) shared a post on LinkedIn:
“The Global Cervical Cancer Elimination Forum in Bali has come to an end.
Cervical cancer remains a significant health challenge – without intensified efforts, annual deaths from cervical cancer could reach 410,000 by 2030 – World Health Organization.
The 2025 Forum was a critical opportunity to galvanise action, share innovations, and strengthen commitments to eliminate cervical cancer and protect future generations from this deadly disease.
Thank you to the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia and partners for hosting us, and to UICC President-Elect, Zainab Shinkafi-Bagudu, colleagues and UICC member organisations, for participating and reaffirming our commitment to eliminating cervical cancer.”
