Catherine Alix-Panabières highlights French-Japanese collaboration on liquid biopsy research in Montpellier
Catherine Alix-Panabières, Professor of Oncology at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Montpellier, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Scientific collaboration at its best – Montpellier, France, Tokyo, Japan: “ID SOLUTIONS and Quantdetect, Inc.”
Thanks to the European Liquid Biopsy Society (ELBS), and following the ISMRC 2025 in Nice, we had the pleasure of bringing together diverse partners for a productive and inspiring scientific meeting in Montpellier in the south of France.
The day was filled with scientific exchange on ctDNA, a visit of the new ID SOLUTIONS building, and dynamic brainstorming sessions — all in the spirit of advancing liquid biopsy research.
With Dr Satoshi Nishizuka, we also took a moment to:
– Visit the new impressive Unique Site of Biology at the CHU de Montpellier where our Liquid Biopsy LCCRH Lab – Laboratoire Cellules Circulantes Rares Humaines is located,
– Admire the beautiful new Faculté de Médecine Montpellier-Nîmes,
– Enjoy the beautiful Mediterranean sunshine and exceptional local cuisine – because great science thrives in great environments! As the moon rose, it gently closed our Japanese-French gathering, leaving us energized with new ideas and directions.
So grateful for the spirit of collaboration and the shared commitment to moving forward together.”
